Our latest projects “Nikhil & Jay” for the BBC, an NDA project for Netflix and a project we cast called “Pause, Rethink, Rewind, Be Kind” for the charity Diversity Role Models are just a few examples of where Brilliant Casting searched far and wide to find the perfect actors for our clients. The brief for Nikil & Jay was to find authentic Indian actors with a connection to the Tamil Nadu region and who ideally spoke some Tamil. Our two leads, both children, matched that brief. We eventually found them via a Drama Club connected to a Hindu Temple….. The Netflix project had two neurodiverse children on the cast and for Pause, Rethink, Rewind, Be Kind we cast authentic heritage children and an authentic actor to play the deaf LGBTQIA+ teacher.
