A voice competition was created to promote the DVD release of Toy Story 3 with the sponsor Asda. Nine lucky children won the chance to visit Pinewood Studios and record their voices for the 3 “Little Peas”. Local press coverage made heroes of all of the finalists and CBBC’s Newsround loved the story so much they even filmed our winning little peas recording their voices and made them national TV stars too!
A voice competition to be the voice of the Hot Dog Seller was run with sponsor Etnies to support their merchandising line of Phineas and Ferb trainers. Not only a perfect target audience match for both Disney XD and Etnies but the competition also delivered incremental mass media publicity for both parties. The character voice was non-gender specific and so opened the one voice competition to both boys and girls.
